MAY NEWSLETTER

Firstly, massive thanks to everyone who has kindly supported me over the last couple of weeks. Thank you for all your kind messages, cards and flowers. I have been inundated with so many good wishes and really appreciate you taking the time to offer your comforting words to me,
My mum was an incredible lady, so spirited and the most selfless lady I have ever know. She lived an amazing life and loved her family so much. I consider myself blessed to have had her as a mum. As well as my dad, she supported me completely when I lost my darling Clive and was so proud when I I opened my studio. Her funeral is this Tuesday and I know she would now be telling me to get back to my classes and my loyal supporting clients. So I will be back this Friday 29th April.

I would like to say a huge thanks to Ange, Vourn and Harri for covering those extra classes Without these professional instructors, who have managed to fit my classes in as well as running their own classes, my studio would have been closed and that was the last thing I wanted to do.
I appreciate there were five classes that I had to cancel, but hope you understand

May also has some Bank holidays, so the studio will be closed on those dates as follows There will be some changes to Monday 9th May as follows

I did say I would update you on classes for the next week.

Again, I must thank everyone who has taken the time to send me a personal message, email,or card or flowers. I have been inundated with support and cannot thank you enough as they have been very comforting to me and my family.

I know life goes on and my mum would be telling me now to put on my red lipstick, smile, laugh and deliver a fun effective class – but at this moment in time, I cannot Her funeral is not until Tuesday 26th April and I feel I cannot teach until she has been laid to rest. My priority has to be my dad who is just broken and I need time to grieve myself I hope you understand and appreciate you still want your classes, so I have asked Ange, Vourn and Harri to cover. Please do support them as it will keep the classes well attended

I am pleased to tell you that with the exception of my PT sessions, and just five classes, ALL the classes are running for the next two weeks, please note the following

Hope you had a great Christmas and are ready for an energetic and healthy New Year.    On behalf of Ange, Em and myself ,  many  thanks for all your cards and presents .  We really appreciate how thoughtful our clients are .
 
 
The atmosphere was lovely Monday 22nd December after classes and on Tuesday 23rd, having mulled wine and mince pies.  Everyone was very upbeat and enjoyed the informal get together   The Young at heart class (above) particularly enjoyed our lunch at the Cottage In Kenilworth 
 
 
We have plans for new classes at the studio for 2015, including Freestyle Fitness Yoga and Pilates/Yoga for Mums and Babies.  Also looking at bringing back Teens Fitness.   I feel for a small private fitness centre, we offer well structured and varied classes.  We strive to keep up to date with fitness trends and occasionally it may mean replacing classes with new ones, but ultimately we aim to please clients

TAMMARINDS
Our annual night out at TAMMARINDS has been booked for Friday 16th January and we are virtually fully booked. If you wish to join us, payment of £10 must be paid this week 
 
MARK BRERETON PLANK CHALLENGE
our annual plank challenge is set for Thursday 19th February to start 7pm prompt.  Last year.   was great fun with everyone supporting each other. With the champions  being Judith Thomas and Mark Brereton at 15 minutes.   For 2015 Plank Challenge, we shall name it the Mark Brereton Plank challenge and I have already warned  Sophie (Mark and Janes daughter ) that the pressure is on!!!!   If you are interested, please turn up and take part in this fun challenge.
 
 
and finally… As we see out the end of 2014, we all reflect on what the year has bought – happiness as babies have been born  to clients  Simone Morgan and Simone Brown both having boys and last night Rebecca gave birth to baby Safiya and the birth of Ryan and Amy Jacksons little girl – congratulations to them all,  the success of the Clive Morris Charity Ball raising £1,500 for Arthritis Research Uk , the Lily Mae Foundation Fun Run, the  Balsall Festival and Party in the Park  ….we also think of those clients who have struggled with ill health …. and our thoughts are with those who are no longer with us.  
 
Yes the end of a year and the start of a new year begins ….

September newsletter

Hi  Hope you have had a lovely summer and are feeling refreshed and relaxedAnge, Em and I enjoyed our breaks and I was pleased to be able to offer virtually a full timetable over the summer period.  I know clients appreciated the continuation of classes. But apologies for the few that were cancelled .  Many thanks to Em  who looked after the studio as well as covering for both mine and Anges classes.You will notice the studio had been decorated over the bank holiday.  I have put a buffer against the wall where the weights and steps are stacked.  Can I kindly ask you to ensure that the equipment does not touch the wall – many thanks.Thank you for your patience as the woodwork is still to be finished and the studio still does smell of fresh paint.There are a few changes to the classes as follows:Step – at present there is only the one step class at 6pm 0n a Monday   However I will see how September is and if I feel the class is too busy, I will put on another one on at 5.15pm.   So watch this space.

Tuesday blissful stretch 10.20am – with the demand for more pilates, I have decided to make this class pilates and stretch. – so very similar to what we have been doing in class,but a mixture of pilates and stretch.  There will still be relaxation at the end

Young at heart – as from Friday 12th September, there will be another YAH class running.  This class is limited to numbers and is suitable for those over the age of 70.   If two YAH classes are done in one week, the price is £8 instead of £10.

Please note this is not included in the monthly package

 

SGP WEDNESDAY 6pm

If you are interested in attending SGP Wednesday at 6pm please email me and book your space for September.  This is a new class – places limited

Also there are two spaces available for Wednesdays 7pm – places limited

BALSALL COMMON FUN RUN AND DEMO

Time is nearly here for the Balsall Common fun run on Saturday 20th September.   Many clients have kindly said they would help with the demo.  Em and I need to go through the routines ASAP.  It will be movements that you know,so,don’t panic- you will know what you are doing, but I just need to confirm who is taking part. It would be great for Ange to take part, but unfortunately due to work commitments she cannot take part .  Can you please let Em  or myself know if you can take part.  The demo takes place in the afternoon (time to be confirmed)    Also em and I are warming up the runners in the morning at the school. If you are taking part, we are expecting lots of noise and support!!!

The whole demo will last no more than 15 minutes and will be made up with step,aero, dance, HIIT body con n pilates

Would be great if you could take part in any or all of the above
